We put our efforts into making each LCW edition a useful learning experience for both beginners and experienced conductors. In this line, apart from a diverse and rewarding repertoire, the workshop week will count with seminars covering ample podium time, in-depth discussions and concert performances.
Fellow Participant Conductors will get a minimum 110 minutes with the ensembles and a concert performance.
Associate Participant Conductors will receive a minimum of 25 minutes of podium with the ensembles.
- Post-session discussions focusing on indviidual participants’ growth during the workshop
- All sessions will be Digitally Recorded in High Definition and concert quality audio, and ample opportunity will be provided to view session recordings. At the end of each conducting session or day, each conductor will receive a digital file of that session. Participants must provide his or her own storage media (USB 3.0 hard drive is recommended).

Conducting Workshop Repertoire
Encompassing classical and contemporary styles, LCW’s repertoire includes music by both masters from the past and living composers, offering a balanced proposal between the works of the European canon and the best works of the Peruvian academic repertoire.
Participants are encouraged to prepare at least one to two movements from each ensemble listed below. Its important that all students obtain all scores and study them to gain the most musical growth out of the workshop.

As part of the workshop program, all participants will have access to a full tourism experience that will include demonstrations of Peruvian culture from all regions as well as free tastings of Peruvian cuisine.
